The 19×7 Spin Resistant Bright Wire Rope the inner strands spun around the core in the opposite direction as the outer strands to help keep the cable from rotating while under a load. These wire ropes are laid so the inner strands counteract the outer strands rotation and are recommended for hoisting unguided loads with a single-part line. While being less durable than the 8×25, the 19×7 (sometimes called 7×19) wire rope has superior rotation resistant properties.
